With the help of Bob Foster and Greenie, I was able to construct a dump that will last.

Great Job, Very expensive, but should last as long as your tanks, only forseeable problems, sand and grit plug gate gully, Fix by after draining, start vacuum before closing gate all the way and it will suck gully clean. (I have been using the same plastic Gillatine valve for the past 9 years no drips..)

didn't notice that, nothing really to compare to in the pics but now that I look I can see the 3" lettering on it. WAY faster dumping. A lot of the crud will get flushed out with the speed of the water.

Anyone notice it's 3" not 2"?

Full port ball valve, doesn't Prochem use those, I always hear they are finicky.

didn't notice it was 3"
Very nice!

donno what PC uses, but a brass full port is what is used on Powermatics.
I've had no troubles with them, but i also run a pool filter, so carpet lint jammed in 'em in never a concern for us either

How many PVC valves could you buy for the price of that set up? I still have my original pvc valve on my 04 Cleanco.

Overkillmuch?

Looks like a Bane tank. 120 gal I am guessing. They do dump fast with that 3 in port. That was a real let down the first time I dumped my Cleanco with the wimpy 2" port after being used to the Bane.

Vincent;

Nice job on the brass valve and cam-locks (a good choice).

We like Stainless Ball Valves with Reinforced Teflon Seats.

We use them because of their hi-temp rating (800°) in our #5 blower system.

A few customers use them for dump valves.
