All those Temps should be good in your insulated garage.. We hit Temps around zero and my van is 3 blocks away, I cover it with a blanket and blow an electric heater under it.. I don't even think about it..

Not really.. Takes a while to freeze things solid enough to break anything.. If you ran it then let it sit you have even more time.. Those Temps are pretty mild, just don't let it sit with the doors open when your not running..

We were setting up for a job one night, it was around 15 degrees and very windy, within the 5 minutes time the brass fittings on the front of the machine froze up and no fluid would come out. We couldn't do the job.
We clean in some pretty cold temps quite often but if it's 10 degrees or less we reschedule for the most part. It's just not worth bringing the truck out of the garage at that point.
Also, keep your equipment close to the machine as possible so the brass fittings don't freeze while your cleaning.

Never buy a machine with pegged gauges unless you know what you are getting into..

Make sure you take the hose off the faucets outside at your house.
Just don't be careless and your van should be fine. If it has to sit for a while outside, keep it running. Once the machine is running it will stay warm enough to not freeze. If it gets in the teens, unroll your solution hose and stop at the door. Set everything else up and then run it out to the van. Start spraying and it will be fine. If you let it sit outside, it will freeze.

When sitting around, the heat from the truckmount after cleaning will help heat up the cab....

Also, just don't let the water sit around not moving a lot...

Outside water hookups are the biggest concern and your fresh water can be also if water not moving....

I had a cold weather cleaning article on a place called "Mikey's Board" that might give you some cold weather cleaning tips :) ;)

And, we do install wireless remote starters in all the vans (Viper remotes) and the install place can max them out for an hour long run time.

Put a thermometer inside the van setting on the floor. Monitor it for a few days and you'll get know what it takes. Every van will react differently. Your window van may cool quicker. It may take hours for anything to freeze solid even at 32 outside. That being said if my van is setting outside in 32 degrees or less its always on my mind.

Wind chill does not have the impact on machines it does on Animals. The wind will cool off your equipment quicker but not nearly as quickly as it will you. Thirty degrees with a wind chill of 5 above will not freeze your gear near as fast as 5 above. But you thin blooded Cali Refugees will feel it.
