Electrical.......Battery

My Genesis runs with a 12 volt, 450 amp battery. Would it harm the system to put a larger capacity battery in as a replacement? I was thinking of 600 plus amps cranking power. Powerclean is already closed for the day, so I thought I might pick the TM mechanics brains here.

Won't hurt, the more the better, you can't have too many amps only too many volts.

Yes, as several board members here have stated, a 600 amp battery is perfectly fine for that unit.

Thanks, all. I figured I better get a new battery in before I need it.

You may consider ill effects on the charging system, the manufacturer can let you know what is safe and what is not. Could be a life shortener on the alternator regulator etc.
