I cleaned some tile in this home about 6 months ago. Guy calls today to see what takes out the stains.

Anyone try anything short of replacing panels?.

If it is not too bad, you can use some quality stainless cleaner or wd40 and some 000 steel wool. Try a small area first, and make sure it is causing no further damage. Slowly work it out with the steel wool scrubbing (gently) with the grain. Scrub a little, then wipe it off and see how it looks. The biggest thing is to go WITH the grain.

Bar Keeper's Friend, stuff works great. Rub gently with the grain with whatever you use or you can get swirl marks.

thanks again for the suggestions.

Just got back from the guy's house. Even though the job was done 8 months ago it was evident that I jacked it up.

Brasso and a green pad worked great , like it's been said, go with the grain.
