What gets your mojo grooving?

Promasters/ Sprinters are FWD, will that work with our pay payload over time? In snow?

I have 3 sprinters. Still undecided about future van since my next TM will use Gas or electricity insteed of diesel.

The sprinter is rwd. And you can get it in 4 wd now . Repair costs very high. I would not get another one. Reg oil change 12 qrts of syn oil and fillter about $200 if you use the mb spc oil. Transmission oil and filter change is a 7 hr job. . There's a video on yt of a promaster and transit taking a hill in the snow. .

I don't think they will hold up (probably why used vans are expensive ).. Better off with a 2013-2014 lightly used..

The Transit is also available with the 3.5 ecoboost, or 3.0 diesel

I've already seen pro masters with 100000 plus miles. Hauling full loads at highway speeds. The guys I've talked to love them

Love my Promaster so far but I just crossed 4k mIles so we will see about longevity.

There has been an upgrade or two since this video but it'll give an idea of what it looks like loaded with equipment.

Loving the sprinter bro!

It's like 10 bolts and 45 minutes to do the transmission filter. You'll need to order the dipstick and filter from Amazon for under 20 bucks. Use Royal Purple tranny fluid about 5 quarts.

Oil changes are like $80 bucks at Walmart using Mobile 1 full syn European 0w50 or something like that. They carry it on the shelf. You need to bring your own oil filter. Scheduled oil changes are every 10k miles. I do mine every 3k miles cuz that's how I roll. Lol.

The Sprinter is the best van I've ever owned.

Parts are expensive from the dealer but you can find everything cheap on Amazon.

Currently, I have 306k miles on my sprinter 2500. No oil leaks, not burning oil and I can practically pull a wheelie off the line.

All the First Gen Sprinters around me are still on the road too, with God knows how many miles, but they look like they have been through both Gulf Wars...

Why?

Because Chevy is undecided on when they will release the new model. I had a great run with my 3500 but the euro vans just make more sense.

I went with a 2015 Ford Transit LWB, Med Roof, 2500.
