Ever hear of this?

My 03 gmc was leaking gas when we filled it up so we thought the filler neck was cracked but after they dropped the tank they found the top of the gas tank has a foot long crack across the top of the tank. How does that happen?

They thought a BDCC would never fill it.

New tank is $1100 plus 400 labor but they can put a used one for $750 installed. I think I'll go with the used one

Just had a new one installed in a F250 for $400.

Had to move my 92 E350 to our new storage site. I noticed it leaked while putting some in it from a jerry jug, thought it was just a cracked hose, or where they had tapped into it with a supply line for the bruin II. Now I am gonna have to really look before I sell it.

I had to replace my clutch in my Passat and the company that I used before, quoted me a price of $1800.00... went to another guy that works on euro cars only and got it done for LESS than $700.00!! (with parts included)
Clutch is non adjustable in this car so I know he had to replace it and didn't just BSed me. Since then I put on about 6000miles.
