I was asked by one of my guys today to find a
glide for our stair tool. Cleaning mattresses with a bit more distance than the upholstery too.
I've done it with a glided
Prochem stair tool. While it can cover more open space faster, it leaves a lot to be desired for true detail cleaning of edge trim and side panels.
I don't mind doing it for my own or salvage work but I'd feel uncomfortable doing it for paying clients unless quality of work wasn't a concern.
I liken it to cleaning a divan with a scrub wand. It can be done, some people may even do it all the time, but I wouldn't.
