Evolution glide bars

Can you see any problem with cutting out the bracing lugs/bars in the Evo wand delrin glide ?.
Like I removed the centre screw from a PC Ti and it didn't cause any problems, so Im hoping the above may work on the Evo in an attempt to stop it continually clogging up.

I cut them out of mine and never had a problem. I also drill out the holes much larger.

It depends on what kind of machine you are hooking it to. The smaller the machine, the more supports you can take out.
