Spent 3 days trying to attend seminars & look at all the new equipment at the show.

Seminars were very good, at the ones I was able to attend.

The Keynote speaker was Brian Tracy on Increasing Sales.

He talked about raising Company Quality to get to the top 10% of your industry.

He emphasized employees that want to achieve that goal,

versus those that always have reasons that keep them from reaching the goal.

He stressed spending the time required to track sales results from all marketing tools.

He talked about the importance of QUICKLY taking action for moving your company forward.

His goal was 2% per month of sales increase (over 25% in a year).

His system for achieving this was fairly straightforward:

1. Listing of every daily activity for each person involved in sales.

2. Determining the relative importance of each item on the list,
rating the #1, #2 and #3 items.

3. Devoting ALL of your time to only those 3 high sales items,
and finishing each of those before taking any break.

By doing this, you eliminate the time wasters like constantly checking email or other internet browsing.

A good seminar on teaching employees to achieve more.

More on the equipment and many cleaners I met later.

We don't stress sales increases, as much as other companies,

but I do think email & internet browsing wastes a lot of time at most companies.

That is where I will focus my efforts.

As a consumer I do most of my product research from the internet. The more you can say or show me about your products or services the better the chance of a sale.

You do a great job striking up biz on the web but your idiot employees run many off with their mistakes.

I'd also suggest you clean the physical house up a bit, many complain about your store's appearance.

Who the he'll needs Bryan Tracy when you can have me for free....

Now for equipment I liked.

Mytee had Flood Hog & Speedster 1005 with the new LX vacs.

Some new Dehu's & low profile AirMovers looked very profitable.

75 Pint LGR from XPower which earns $73/day Exactimate for a 19 day payback.

DR700 low profile AirMover 1050 CFM, stackable, @ $199.

Jim Martin liked the new Truck @ $48K (edited)

Same people according to Jim Martin.

It had a Butler installed.

not 100% sure what you mean by " Same people according to Jim Martin " but the picture above is a direct drive Butler System in an Isuzu 3500 with the same exact Corvette engine that my Chevy W4500 runs...it is a bit shorter than an extended van...the cab and engine is 100% identical to mine...both run on regular fuel.....but it sports the Isuzu badge because it is the 35000..and mine has the Chevy...it was a very nice set up..we went to it every day at least 3 to 4 times....and it is absolutely nothing like the gorilla truck and far from the same people...
I tilted the cab and got a few pictures of the direct drive and heating system..pretty sweet set up...

They have been making the Butler Isuzu for quite a few years. I almost ordered one a few years ago.

What's with Larry quoting and mis-quoting you? :headscratch:

Yeah....but I got used to Lockhart after awhile. :winky:

You need to stop the cycle!
