what hp engine would is best for #4, 5 or #6 blower? Why or why not?

I see tm’s built with 20hp and a bit higher hp engines with # 4 or sometimes higher blower and wonder if the blower is at all being utilized to its peak performance with a low/mid range hp engine.

My personal preference is to have a bigger engine then necessary. Operating a smaller engine at its peak RPM's will have a rather short life and be very loud. IMO my TM's with bigger motors use less fuel then my smaller one due to increased RPM's.

Then determine how much heat you require if using heat exchange technology. The larger the engine, the more fuel it burns and more heat energy is produced. Some people's exchangers are more efficient than others.
