I wanna buy one of these this morning. Seems to be an entry level camera that sells for around 3 grand.

Anybody got one? How well do these cameras work for finding hot spots in breaker boxes?

Jerry I don't any of that brand but the IR cameras work for our industry by showing temperature differential.

Finding hot spots in am electrical box should be easy for an IR camera.

We have the I5 and love it. For the money, it's a great tool. We use it to speed up the moisture tracking process. We have yet to charge for it, but I didn't buy it for that. I bought it for peace of mind.

We've had this camera for a few months now and im pretty happy with the purchase. The thing I like the most is the ease of use. Very easy to use. Definatly not the endall tool, but a nice one to have in the box. I still havent looked at the cd or instructions that came with it. I see they have actual classes for this but it seems pretty simple.....im sure theres alot more to it.

Thanks for the comments Richard and Ed :)

Now that they lowered the price to 2,000 it is even better.
