Extra parts?

I finished a complete rebuild on a Cat 435 on a Butler unit. I have 3 extra cotter pins and 3 white washers. Cat never puts in more than you need. Did I mess up?

Also after reinstalling, the switch on the fresh water tank is dead.

Any suggestions?

Blow a fuse? Should be an inline fuse, check it.
