Depends on the surface and subsurface.

Primarily:

Hydro-X (Extreme Extractor) hooked up to a truckmount
Water Claw hooked up to a truckmount
Scrub Wand (if it's an extremely short low level loop w/o pad over concrete)

Rover

Extreme Extractor (w or w/o vac pac)

We will use them all, depending on the situation.

Wand: want is used for glue down or when water level is over the carpet.

Drag Wand: Glue down carpet

Water Claw: Closets, steps when left in place or when there is no power for powered extraction tools.

Rover & Extreme Extractor: used most often when carpet & pad

We have a local franchise sports store coming to town and they had a large water main break. They ran out to the hardware store and bought a bunch of wet vacs to extract the water then called a restoration company. :roll:

Actually I love it when they do some extraction, they get a better appreciation for extraction charges.

You can do a decent job on a small area (closet, bath room, small hall) with a wet vac. More than that and it's a pain. After you've spent several hours of dumping and filling, you realize it's limited value.

We use the Rover almost daily and it removes it from the pad. ???

Extreme Extractor is a great tool, I think it's time to upgrade the steering.

Had the extreme extractor sold it.....great tool didnt like the steering though. It was easier to set up my guys with these hi rises with a porty water claw and wand, then having 4 extremes or more and cheaper...lol

We use water claw followed by wand, simple and very effective.

I use my wand with a green glide on it and my Water Claw.
