I was cutting grass last night and once the sun went down I regretted wear shorts and a sleeveless shirt. I was too close to the road to go back to the house and get a jacket. I froze. I miss summer already.

I love the smell of fresh cut grass and with it the arrival of football season....

I like being able to put aside the bug repellent till next year. I miss the snakes when it cools down, but the trade off is worth it. When the leaves fall, the wildlife that hasn't migrated or hibernated is a lot easier to spot as well.

I'll be out there until it get's to about 10 below. I just don't have winter gear for Minnesota weather.

It was really nice here today. Upper 80's with 10 % humidity. First time I've enjoyed working since mid June.
