Feel like Saiger today

[Cleanworks]

One of my busiest days in a while. Had to deliver 2 rugs first thing this morning (7:30), then go to the shop and prepare my truck. First job, my condo bldg, 4 hallways, 2-stairwells. $600 and 3 hours. Then drive to a neighboring city and do a 3 bedroom townhouse, slightly over a 200 ft setup. $300 and 2 hours, including picking up and dropping the keys. Deliver another rug, pick up another rug, check my mail and hey some cheques came in. Drive back to my home town and do another small town house. $200 and 1 hour. Oh yeah, first job with one truck, then switch to my back up astrovan, cause I'm going downtown and am unsure of where I'm going to park. Now I'm back at the shop draining one truck and having a beer. Then I have to go get the other one and drain that one too. Last job of the day cancelled, thank god. Only difference, my knees feel fine. Somewhat.

I collected time cards this am, ate a crew of chimps out for starting at 10 this am and cleaned about 2k all by myself. Does that count? I did get all the laundry finished too. How about that for a day.

Guess I need to fire myself.... I gave the OK for it.... new contract, and I don’t want to let this company down. They’ve given us 25-30 jobs so far this year. Not one of them has been under 1k.....

So, in my #sparetime I’ve done estimates on dental office floors, parish center floors, 2 more churches to take on janitorial, and do their floors. Priced all floors high for me to dissuade them. Didn’t work, they’re all booking. I didn’t want the dental office at ALL. Get ready chimps!!!
