Did you only try this for one month? you almost broke even. Are you sure you don't want to give it another month?

Were those 2 jobs new customers ? That would be worth it to me to break even if I was gaining new customers.

After all expenses, I pretty much broke even.
Yes, the customer retention part is a plus. It was just too much attention and work compared to better ads to justify staying on.

I have a pretty good web presence without them.

Same thing went for Service Magic.

After overhead you likely would have
to bring in almost double that just to break even.

Better just to flush it down the toilet.

It's a lot easier than all the work and sweat that has to be done to clean carpet and still loose money on every job.

That sucks, it worked for me in the past 4 weeks. I was in the carpet, tile and stone searches and I did this:
Slate Strip and Seal $825
Travertine Clean and Seal $650
Travetine Clean Only $425
Carpet Clean $100 Real Estate Agent future work
Carpet Clean $150
Total $2,150
Minus $340 Blue Raptor/Reach local fee
$1,810.00 Not bad for my only advertising cost, they're already hounding me to come back, I think I will.

I'm not sure how they advertise. I found my rep in an article in Cleanfax when he was with Reach Local, now I think he owns Blue Raptor which is an extension of Reach Local. When he was with RL it did ok, when he brought in Blue Raptor it did 2-4 times better, I don't know why. If anyone wants his # PM me.

They advertise on the internet.
They get high in the listings with your website and "reach local" thing after the .com



I can get pretty high on my own now. I believe Dave Yoakum said that.
