Stepbrother has moved in today and we cleaned two restaurants in a country club today. It went great!
He definitely wants to work with me full term. :) Time to order new work shirts!
We Zippered the first restaurant since it had really thick carpet, and then he wanded this one just to get the feel for both tools. Tomorrow he gets to Zipper a really dirty restaurant!

Side note: I hate how his back is bent while pushing the wand.. Looking at the picture if they moved the assist handle 4 to 6" up the tube his back might be straight..
He was scrubbing a spot ......I showed him the proper form and he is getting it down. He's pretty tall....like 6' 2.

Oh...you don't have to tell me! It's my go to tool! Although I don't have the spinner.... I was using this as a training session since there was no hurry and just letting him get the feel for the tools.

i hope it works out as planned Kellie.

ive got Genny now but not all the time. we have a hard time finding dependable people. had one of Gennys sons friend not show up last night so Genny had to help then work this morning. She just found someone who is working out but i keep thinking it wont last because none of them have no matter how much they say they like it.

Thank you Steve...I do know how hard it is to find good helpers, sorry you are experiencing it. I'm hoping this works out too. He is really in a situation where this is perfect for him as well so I think it's a win win. Time will tell of course.

Ofer...haha!! That cracked me up!!

Good for you. But I agree with the handle needs to be higher.

Look what you've done now.

You got Grasshopper all excited.
They'll have to line up a mini water damage (like a tea cup spill) just for him, so that he can lawfully leave the office.

It will take him months now to wind down.

And interrupt nap time? Pffffttt. He'd need to get out of his pajamas......

Wow...I hadn't even noticed that! Good catch! I will make sure to adjust what I need to for him.
So far it's going great! He is extremely intelligent and has caught on very quick. He is also very mechanical which means that once he learns the carpet cleaning and customer relations I will feel much more confident sending him out on his own. I've got him reading the IICRC class books already and as soon as the class comes around he is going to take it.
I told him tonight I was mad at him...he looked kinda freaked out. I told him I was mad that he did not come work for me sooner lol! He agreed!
He feels really good about everything, especially just being here to help us out. He sees what I've been dealing with alone and he was pretty shocked lol...
