Thank you....I hope so too.
George is doing just ok. He has these short moments where he gets talkative and feels ok, but he just gets so tired so fast.
We found out he is extremely low on testosterone and could be why he is so utterly wiped out and one doc says he shouldn't take it while the oncologist says he should if it will make him feel better. So we are trying to figure out the best route to go. He is on the oxygen still and may very have to be for good, don't know yet because they still don't really know why he ended up on it in the first place.
He will be seeing a palliative care specialist soon and they are thinking he should go on either fentanyl or methadone to keep his comfort more regulated.
He is still on a chemo break, but we know that without chemo the tumors will grow and spread so he will likely be going back on in a few weeks.
Someone messed up and did not MRI his brain but just his pituitary region so now we have to figure that out as well.
He still has some fight in him since he is willing to go on the chemo again at least at a half dose of what he was on and to me is a great sign.
Shilo being here has helped George a lot because he feels better about me not being alone anymore.
I've finally been able to do the much needed upkeep on the equipment with the help of Shilo which is awesome, and I am not so tired and in miserable pain anymore so I am able to really focus on doing a good job. Not gonna lie, for a while there I was feeling like a hack because I just couldn't keep up, but those days are over!
