And now back to your regular scheduled program...

I have never found this up here in Canada.

So where did you find the Fels Russ? I have looked far and wide, closest thing I found was a Sunlight laundry bar.

What is it with Microfibers like that...
Iv'e never seen upholstery get soiled like that until this garbage fabric came out..
Either the open weave herculons and polys were letting those liquid spills through to never be seen again, or the furniture salesmen are over selling this stuff as stain proof and parents are letting their brats go hog wild..

I'd say a lot of the issues(imo) with micro fiber is that it has a backing, something the micro fibers are glued to. I believe it's normally some type of flexible vinyl . Because it has a backing, Just about any attempt Ms Smith at cleaning a spill will end up with a water marks(circles).

Also, clients have no idea that they must wet the entire cushion, not just where the spill is at. So generally they just make it worse.

I'd say most of the time I see ones like this it's... kid spills and pets(licking them self on the couch). Other than that it's oils(fels).

Every once in a while, miracles will happen. Even with a porty and a 75$ upholstery tool...

The inconsistency in results drives me nuts.

Many clean up like new but than like at the sausage factory, you get one with god only knows what sort of natural fiber in it thrown in that day (Rayon or Linen) that wont release a lot of the spots..

Makes you look like a newb..

Just what I had last week. Large L-shape sectional. "off white" color fabric.
Embarrassing amount of trips to the van... For yet another bottle of this and that. I should have just brought 10 products in all at once. ..

And still wasn't able to get rid of everything.

This happens to most every veteran cleaner who gives a damn about their customer and takes pride in their work Mike.

I'm covering this subject, and what to do about it, in Atlanta.

Thank you Mike, that gets through to my literal, left brained skull much better.
...........
When you then add a variety of offspring and pets to the mix, you get furniture that looks like the above picture.
Seems to me that what Saint Jim of the Pembertons is really suggesting, is that these people should not procreate :winky:
Was this cleared with the Vatican, Jim?

I know you are teasing, but no to be very clear, I have no problem with children in any quantity. The only procreation that I think anyone might care to regret should be taken up with my parents some 56 plus years ago

Right Jim.... Tell us how you really feel: you wished you were 1/3 of the triplets. Imagine the amount of upholstery cleaning classes yous could do.

I've never looked at the ingredients but soap is easy to make. There is probably a YouTube video on how to make fels. I make my own personal soap bars but buy the fels. It's not the only bar you could use. Canada probably has a similar product. Look in the laundry isle.
