First BBB Complaint. Anyone know this A@@HOLE.

This asshat bid on a auction I had listed for some powerclean citra-solv. I THOUGHT I had 3 cases of it but when I opened it to sell some to someone else it was citra-clean in the boxes no citra-solv so I went can canceled the auction. Before I could email the bidders this asshat sent me a threatening email (see below) I didn't even bother to respond to the asshat I just blocked him from buying from me and reported him to ebay. I guess when ebay told him to pound sand he decided to report me to the BBB. Unbelievable. If anyone knows this asshat tell him to get a life for me Nice of him to provide his address and phone number

Consumer's Original Complaint :
Listed a $24 retail product in a No Reserve eBay auction. Myself & another bid the $2 minimum, then they ended the auction early siting "No Bids".
Superior Cleaning Solutions is a major distributer of carpet cleaning products nationally. They sell on EBay a lot. Last month they listed a ($24 retail value) gallon of "Cleasn CitruSolv Spotter" in a 7 day No Reserve EBay auction for a $1.99 minimum bid (auction #370459176651). I bid the $1.99 as well as another potential buyer. After 3 days, Superior ended the auction EARLY siting "No Bids". He just wanted to "Bait & Switch" people into his EBay store. I complained to EBay.

Consumer's Desired Resolution:
Superior is obligated to sell me this product ("Cleasn CitruSolv Spotter" - 1 gallon size) for the $2 I bid in good faith.PS: I have an email saved from Superior confirming the auction, the 1 gallon size and saying he's selling it cheap "Just for fun".

MY RESPONSE

Not that I should need to explain ANYTHING but I would have if this knucklehead hadn't sent this email to me and I quote"Dear superiorcleaningsolutions,
"JUST FOR FUN?" You CANCELLED the auction!! Before I file every complaint available on eBay about you, you better damn well sell me that gallon for $1.99 or I'll show you what "just for fun" is!!!!!!!!"
As a seller I have the right and OBLIGATION to cancel an auction for ANY reason but in this case it turned out that the item I listed was NOT in stock. The boxes were mis-labeled and as soon as I realized it I canceled the auction. I would have explained this but I once I was threatened I felt no need. I hope this person gets the serious help they need.

I'd work it out with the BBB and give that jerk something comparable. He doesn't deserve it, but you don't need a bad mark on you either.

Let Lora call the BBB and explain what happened, I'm sure they will understand.

And yes John there are too many jerks in this world, you've got to get use to dealing with them or they will drive you crazy.

You should take down his personal info, in case one of the fine people calls him and tells him you posted his personal info. Cyber laws are being more strickly enforced. There was a couple that created a fake FB page about their old friend and they got arrested and booked in jail. Just my thoughts...

Take the high road and work out the problem with the BBB and im sure it will work out.

Ken my response was to ignore his threat and ban im from purchasing from me. I did not respond to this asshat until we got the letter from the BBB today.

Maybe your a better man then me Ken and take threats to your reputation lightly but making a public attack against me and my company doesn't sit quite so nicely with me.

Somehow I doubt he posted it there if he knew you were going to repost it on a carpet cleaning forum. I think its tasteless to air your dirty laundry in regards to this dipshit.

Respond your record will be fine. Tell them that you have filed a complaint against him with eBay. No big deal really.

I have responded similarly with poeple John and in the end I regretted not doing it different. I am by no means a better man, but could have suggested what moight have ended it before it got to the bbb and that is just responding to him exactly as you told it here. He may have gone away with a kind answer, and ignoring it may be what caused the current issue you now have to work harder at undoing.

Almost daily you can see they are even being used for print and TV.

We don't pay them anything but if someone searches us it will still come up. The bbb should see this for what it is attempted extortion. I posted this to vent with my friends. I have no plans to ever contact this person as it would be ugly.

P.S. Ken the way I handled this is a million times better then I would have in the past and way better then the way I want to.

The issue before us has no basis in reality. Talk to a human calmly at the BBB and state your case. They will resolve the complaint.
