Wow....It is so much better than I expected!
First of all, I am able to not only pick it up out of the truck easily but carry it upstairs as well!
It is so easy to use, much less operator fatigue than the RX20, I love the handle design!
I did 2 big jobs with it today....flying solo and it was a breeze!
The quad head agitates the carpet so well, the second job was worn down and while not rat nasty, some areas like in front of where the sofa was were pretty bad. The landlord was worried because before the previous tenant had moved in he had it cleaned and it did not clean up well. When i was finished and had it all groomed out he was shocked. It looked like damn near brand new carpet! It made me realize just how much I had missed having a rotary!
This machine is a life saver for me, truly. Between the Rotovac for residential and the Zipper for commercial I am hoping to never have to pick up a wand again. My carpet brush head and bonnet head are en route so I can't wait to try the carpet brush head in some of our restaurant accounts, and the bonnets for that one commercial account where we have to use a portable in the backs due to security door....I am so excited!!!!!
I'm not gonna lie....after the first job, I got in the van and literally cried. I cried because I feel so much hope and strength in knowing that I am not only going to be able to keep working despite my back issues, but also do a premium job, and I don't need George to come with me when he is feeling sick and tired from the chemo, or his bones hurt, which sadly is happening more and more.
This is such a perfect tool for me, and I can't imagine living without it now!
I will post videos when I have George with me hopefully tomorrow!

Thanks guys!
I did run at 300 per the instructions and it was perfect! I noticed it said that you could run at 100 PSI and was wondering what application that would be good for?
I have samples of Releasit coming so I'm pretty stoked to try it, as I hear good things about it...
And yes I too am so happy I got the RV over the CRB! It will definitely be used much more than the CRB ever would've! Thank you Rico for helping me make the right decision!! It is definitely a game changer for me!
I seriously feel so unbelievable thankful and happy with it!:clap:

My next Rotovac purchase is going to be the Shear Dry! I really like their products and their customer service is awesome. When I find a company like that I stick with their products. It'll be nice to get rid of my old style uncomfortable UPH tool!

I used the pad driver on mine to hit a spot I missed with the brush head.

HOS cotton OP pad and some Releasit..POW!

Gone!

Word of note Kellie, you don't need high pressure to get'er done with RE's..

300 is fine and dandy.
You know....I hadn't thought of that as a use as well....when doing HWE some spots need to be buffed out, also if someone has just a few spots that need encap to prevent wicking etc, I can just go in with the RV and bonnet them out!! That is a great tip! Thanks Mikey!!

The shear dry has made the guys love upholstery cleaning. The 360 i we have been using for 2 months now, love it....except for low pile carpet... even using the brush head a regular wand or the zipper works better for us.

Have you tried slowing down the RV?

Im hoping The hubby will get me the Shear Dry for Christmas....lol! I agree it will make UPH cleaning a breeze.
So....we have an account, its two really nice breakfast restaurants. We have been cleaning their carpet every month for years, and they just recently did remodels and for some godforsaken reason replaced the carpet ( we recommended not to as it was not only in great shape, no wear and very clean, even passing the white towel test).

The new carpet is awful. It is extremely low pile whereas the previous had a good loop pile that cleaned up perfectly every time. This new carpet is ugly and is already wearing badly in the traffic areas. Even worse, it is a bitch to clean. It needs intense agitation. The install is awful too....rocks and lumps under the carpet all over the place, The edges are unevenly cut and barely glued down, seams already shredding. We have let them know what to expect and the managers just shrug, the owner is a woman who isn't really living in reality.
I was hoping to try the RV on it but get the feeling it
won't be feasible without the brush head? Or would it work if I slowed the RPMs down? I clean it next Monday so I am hoping I get the brush head before then...Or I can pre-scrub it with a red pad.
Ive honestly never seen such awful carpet! This the before pic.....

Thank you! Between the Zipper and Flex with citrus it does come out great, but I just don't see this carpet lasting long due to wear, especially right where they come out of the kitchen. And they keep the kitchen floors very clean, in fact this place is really spotless all the time. Its an award winning restaurant...best breakfast ever!!!

After using the 360i we then edge corners and edges with a 4" edge wand. If there are black filtration lines when then use a crevice tool with jet on the outside.

I know, I know, a bunch of work. But very professional results.

This was one of my jobs today...really thick carpet, cleaned up beautifully! It was a huge house and I was worried because the carpet was so thick but it was a breeze!!
I wish I had remembered to take a pic at the first job...the homeowners thought they were going to need to replace the carpet but wanted to give the cleaning a shot. It was pretty matted and very dirty. I made it look brand new! They were watching the site tube and seeing the difference and were very impressed and obviously will not be replacing their carpet. I picked up a lifelong customer and they are already referring me to a bunch of people! What a great day!

The first job I did with the RV was a low pile residential carpet and it went great!
We haven't used it on CGD, don't do much of that. The trashed berber carpets we have tried it on were OK, but when going back over them with the wand or zipper they looked much better, same with a low pile nylon that we had to re-clean with a wand.
Maybe it has something to do with flow?
