First Time Using Devastator Filter

I used my new Devastator filter today, first time using one and was amazed by how much better it was compared to the others I've used. My vacuum was noticeably stronger, the filter had absolutely no vacuum leak and the paint filter lasted all day. Nice job Tom Conway!!

I do use saiger sauce... and how would you know?

I had the Mytee Lint Hog for a few years and the other metal filter for about 1 year.

After using the Devastator for about a week now, I am very happy with the performance. I only have one complaint... Maybe because it is new, but the filter bag is impossible to get out. I literally had to get a tool out of the shop and try to pry it out. Add to that the fact that the filter was nasty and there wasn't anything to grab that wasn't rat nasty. I am hoping that it becomes easier over time, it would be nice if there was some sort of tab built onto the rim to be able to grab and pull.

It may be something you're doing. I say this only because we have two of them and they've never been hard to remove. However, I pulled one out of my sons van last week and had to take a screwdriver to pry it out! Have no idea why!

Mine was hard to get out sometimes too. So I just pulled the bag inside/out and cleaned it that way. If it was really gross I just hooked my pressure washer up right at the machine and sprayed it with that....good as new.

Yea, we use filter bags and spraying it off isn't good enough for me. I may rig up a pull tab somehow, it can't be that hard to do.

6'2 250lbs... pretty sure I can take you. I knew someone would pull the wimp card. It's the little things that make this industry great or frustrating. Just like pulling a new OP machine out of the box today and it doesn't run. Frustrating...

I use to use those but I'm a little OCD about a clean van, so the inline filters that stay outside the truck work best for me.
