I currently clean the carpets at the fitness club I belong to. New owners are taking over. I am sure they will be replacing the flooring in the future. Is there a type of carpet that would be suitable for this purpose and who makes it ?

Carpet tiles seem to be very popular for this use. There are some that come pretreated with disinfectant to control odor and such.

For specific products names and suggestions, I think you should contact my friendly competition, Bill Yeadon. He has a better handle on new carpet products than anyone I know of.
