Well it's not what you think. I have focused my business mostly on residential, very little commercial, other than higher end. I was offered lots of commercial, did a few jobs and thought it was not for me. As my luck goes this guy wants to pay more than I thought. Why does this happen? What when I thought I don't want this and it is not in my plan, but as I look at the numbers I have to take it. Why do these thing happen and how do you deal with it?

Sorry so long winded.

Odin, you don't understand. He has to pretend he doesn't need it at all. They laid a horsehead in his bed and made him take the account.

I love commercial work. Larger areas same price per sq more money when I am done for the day

Put the numbers to the commercial. Much more money per hour, and more hours working not driving. The commercial is also easier to hire help for than residential. Get some help Ron. It is time to grow. I am trying for that lottery ticket down here. Take it and RUN with it.

Why did this happen?

You have changed your focus from residential to commercial.
Things happen cause you make them happen, your are a achiever.
You set your goals and open up a new game plan.

How do I deal with it?

Get the right equipment, manpower, time will work
Your are there now, may be just a few more tools.

Bocan is right more per $hr, no driving around

Odin is right too
Put it on my plate and will eat it all up

Good luck, your are Flowing in the right direction
