I got my hands on an old Advance foaming upholstery cleaner...it has a tank that makes foam connected to a small rotary brush.

Any suggestions for cleaning solution to use in this thing?

I think this was made in the 70's by the looks of it. Seems to be similar to a Von Shrader upholstery machine.

Your dad was a pioneer, sell the truckmounts, dry foam is the wave of the future....

There are three good upholstery shampoos that I've used in similar equipment:

Prochem Fine Fabric Shampoo
Bridgepoint Fabric Shanpoo
Chemspec Fast Drying Upholstery Shampoo

1970's called, they want there machine back....

Prochem used to have a solvent foaming shampoo but I don't know if they still do. I think have some...but its 20- years old. I'll sell it to you..lol:winky:

I got one of those original Powerglide's made before China dominated the market place... Care to trade for your Windsor icapsol machine? :eekk:

I've used that machine 40 years ago. Pretty cool. I use Von Schraders now. Love dry foam for "special care" low moisture cleaning. We created a glided van tool for vacuuming foam from fabrics. Works great. Fast method.
