Funny or a BMW logo. I always wanted GS 650 until they stopped using Rotax motors

Yes the SV is nice. I wanted one until they started calling it the ''Gladius'' and marketing it to metrosexual

As long as it will smoke your average Harley I am happy

Is there any way you can use those paint filters with a standard Butler waste tank, no filter box?
@Mark Saiger does... so yes..

Let's wait for the video

Yeah...video on the way :)

But for now...pics of what I use...which are 5 gallon paint filter liners....

I have tried 3 different sizes...and with and witout
Yes they should fit the box, there are two kinds of 5 gallon paint strainers, one has rubber band top and one does not. For the box I think non elastic top will work better for you as it opens up more so it may fit the box filter better, on the Dev filter the band just helps hold it in place as you install it back into the filter.
Go to any PRO PAINT store in you area, I just buy them locally from my Kelly Moore paint store in boxes of 25.

Yeah...video on the way :)

I have tried 3 different sizes...and with and without the elastic on top....I prefer the elastic actually....

The video will maybe show and explain things better...but here are pics for now (especially for those not wanting to watch another vid :) )

These will work in any Butler filter (rear waste type clean out, or in the tank)

We actually buy them in bulk and throw them away each day....

We use them mainly without the Butler Bags....sometimes heavy debris, we will put them inside a Butler waste bag so I don't have to clean that bag.

I get them from www.painterdeal.com (go to Strainer Bags) SB-501 units

Yeah...video on the way :)

If this can better explain my disposable filters.

I also buy in bulk of 600 at a time, so they come in at about .85 cents a piece.....

These units are larger....don't know if that would be good or bad for the inline filters, but I like them for my application.

More surface area, pretty durable for being on their own....

I believe Mark uses the filter box which is different than the filter bag setup in the waste tank.

Actually, the waste tank set up also is the same filter....

It is just a bit more of a pain to get to it....but these filters will also work in there too

The Filter Box is just way more convenient....

Are there other advantages using these disposable filters besides not having to clean them out each day.

I got 50 hours out of my first "disposable" filter..

I pressure wash it with my HF gun after most jobs.

The real benefit is how crud free your tank stays, especially your blower protection filter.

I was throwing them away and I still throw some away if they are really bad, but I've been getting a week out them for the most part since I started cleaning them. I have actually found that if you take them out at night or leave the lid off the filter, the crud dries out and then you can just shake it out in the morning.

That might be about it for me....

Not sure if better flow of any nature or different flow.....

Just hate wasting time cleaning filters.

I have about 50 Butler Filter bags in my shop....

We used to take an hour or so every now and then to clean them out because we were just so busy....

So these came along....and I just find it way nicer to toss them away....

I get months out of a bag....I turn them inside out to get most of the junk off. Rinse them off with the short "bleeder" hose off the truckmount.... Collect them in a bag and then I will wash them in a laundromat when I wash towels/bonnets.

(I never wash towels, rags, pads, bonnets at home in our own washing machine)
