Does anyone here do this? I recall reading about it sometime ago at Trash-Mouth-Forums.

Kemp Waterfall was the first person to try it as far as I know.
I was the one who coined the term Four 2 the Door..

I did it for a few months during the begining of the greenie revolution

2.5 for your first 50 is plenty.

So, you're the name-guru!
Just a single 2.5" for the first 50'? And then 2" the rest of the way?
Using two suction ports doesn't make any difference?

1.5" inch whip is the way to go.

If you dont have a 2.5 port than I'd suggest running two 2's to a Y joiner or a Devestator filter, maybe five feet from the truck. To the door is a waste of time and material

I currently use 7'. I notice Mark Saiger goes 2" hose all the way. Although 1.5" is easier to manipulate, I'm thinking 2" is better for drying, mainly for rotary extraction.

It appears you're frugal. Don't argue with success as they say. :)

Yes. Too arbitrary of a number in length, that, four to the door. Five won't trip anyone up.

ETA: Thanks!
