Had the flu really bad and HAD to do this move in on a cold rainy day.

I'm sure I gave the lady my flu too.

Sicker than a dog.

I think I was crying because I HAD TO GO.

Head pounding...........sweating..........pukey

Worst 2 hours I've ever had working.

I told myself that those solders on the Baton Death march in the phillipines had it much worse that I did.

A lot were so sick that they knew if they fell down the japs would either shoot them or bayonet them to death.

Told my son that story and said you gotta do what you have to do.

.

My great uncle served in the Pacific and met some of those who survived Bataan later. Those stories keep feeling sick on the job in perspective, don't they Jimmy?

Wow Bill you're a lot tougher than you look! :p

Seriously I hope all is well and you mend quickly. That's a lot of driving for anyone especially someone who just had surgery.

Last day in Alaska.......I got violently sick....so bad that Tia took me to urgent care and they wanted to put me in an ambulance and take me to the hospital......

got to the emg room.......and I got a cat scan...poked....prodded...stuck with 3 needles and violated...all with in an hour and 30 min of arrival....we missed our flight home....ended up staying 2 days longer then planned....Tia finally found a 5 hour flight that went from Anchorage straight into Phoenix...and then a 2 hour drive home.....it was miserable....first time I ever wished the plane would just fall out of the sky and get it over with........got home and the next day I was in so much pain..ended up back in the hospital...more needles and another cat scan....they were thinking that I had a hernia...or my appendix ruptured.....come to find out..I was throwing up so hard that I ripped a lot of muscles and pissed off a few other things.......back to work the next day...you just have to push therw it and work it out of your system....

while in the Emg room at hospital in Alaska...a few other people came in with the same problem...when we got home Tia's mom said a few other family members came down with it.....

Katie threw up once less the 24 hours before it hit me and then she was fine...

Well not sick but I had three hours of prostate surgery about 10 days ago and had to do 2 seminars last week and yesterday. Wasn't so much the standing that killed me but the 18 hours of driving makes me walk like the little old man from Laugh In.

:eekk: Hope your feeling better bill.

With my knee surgery last Monday, I thought I would be out on the truck again in couple days....That didn't happen! I got off the pain meds Thursday (which just made me loopy and sweaty anyway it seemed) and by Friday, I was trying to drive (surgery on right knee). Took me more work to get in and out of the vehicles and then try to use them damn crutches....I don't dare run the wand yet, but I can still rest on the crutches and crack the whip on the job sites! But sometimes, I just sucks trying to run a business when you don't feel good and your swamped with work as well!
