Fuel filter changed

Well first off thanks to Jim Martin and Tom Rowe.

After quite a fight the old filter came off. No telling when it was changed last.

Broke the bleeder valve open and primed.

She cranked right up, hope it goes this well everytime.

Maybe a figment of my imagination but it runs like a different truck. Seems smoother and runs quietier.

My V is a Vent truck and it is amazing some of the things you find.

does it idle better too?


side note - bought my second v today will do a pic and mod by mod list as i fix it up. this one is just like yours brad.

Seems to run smoother and quitier. The speed has not changed.

Vent truck? out of Houston?

it is a pos venturi unit and it is way worse than the first one. will take pics today and post them so you can seen what i am talking about.

I had it on cruse control last week going down the interstate and noticed it was surging a little......

I changed out the gas filter this last weekend and she smoothed right out....It made a bigger difference then what I thought it would....pick up...idle..everything is much better.....
