Re: HOW MANY OF YOU DUMMIES

Yes bob, any legitmate company that installs TM's puts those on. Mine is just before my fresh water tank. They made sure to tell me if I wasn't getting water that one place to check would be the water inlet as it could clog over time.

Re: HOW MANY OF YOU PROFESSIONALS

If you hook to an outside tap, always run it a bit to make sure it's running clean. Over the years I've had everything from wasp nests, a bumblebee, to a small lizard clog the water feed line. Yes we use the washing machine strainer washers on our hoses.

Re: HOW MANY OF YOU PROFESSIONALS

Years on an 02 ain't an 02 any more pops. The good news is at least you ain't misting carpet as bad as we had thought....but...you better turn the pressure up each year cause you ain't hitting the rug with that knife like strike of a sharp new jet, you are just garden hosing it.
I'm also waiting for a gem yet to come from Bawb...somehting better than butcher paper and hack juice.

Re: HOW MANY OF YOU PROFESSIONALS

You know Bob, I really like you're attitude and can see why people like you. And also I have come to realise you aren't going to change a thing. And you might as well not because then you just wouldn't be Bob. You do really remind me of a Tile installer we used to have in my in-laws carpet biz. He was a good guy, too bad he had to retire early due to congestive heart failure.

umm, Bob, I don't think city water pressure or temps are an issue thru the strainer.
it goes BEFORE the pump...
you knew that, right??????

and you run hot water thru your pump?
how come??

and i guess you're saying you use no pump strainer other than that crappy washer screen that small tadpoles will slide thru????

I've been gone for a bit, only able to view the boards for a minute, or two, each day. I get on this morning with a bit of time to cruise the site and the first thread I click on is this DAT.

Everything is normal.

Bob you know as well as I that the Detroit City water system barely filters out large needles.
