I just topped off the Van (PTO truck mount) after each day and did the math on cost of gas per job. Avg cost is 6.2% of the gross. Just Gas. These particular days were avg days at best, no slammers. Around $600 per day

I've been putting in $80 every 2 days running a pto. 2 jobs a day roughly.

Such as? Various Bane's have been in the family since 1973' this one has 200 hours.

The Mytee vortex had 120hours on vac motor#1 before being labeled a "defect" Before I came across Bane I was thinking of Mytee Air hog but question Mytee new ownership and quality issues.
I had a version of PEX labeled US products not a real fan of 5.7 3 stage in series

No this is just a basic Bane 2018' no tank just the 2 cords.
I was just interested that with a few mods could make it as a worthy high performance electric like Vortex and put in my smaller extra van.
You often get the sound of crickets when asking about bane cfm, lift...

So you were happy with your Bane? I know banewashed, etc but debating on picking up one vs replacing my vac motors from Mytee Vortex Breeze.
I was happy until I learned better. I would bonnet clean now before using a bane again. I now have a butler and would recommend getting a used pto or slide in if money us tight.
I've never used a portable though. But imagine bonnet cleaning might be better for most residential. I worked for a chem dry years and years ago.

I have the base Bane, but I don’t use it any longer. It was ok, but too cumbersome matching it with Propane heat. That’s why I like the PEX if a porty is needed. Ease with all options.
Put those vac motors in parallel instead of series if you have the dual motors and slap an inline heater to supplement the internal one. It'll make a big difference in the heat and vacuum performance.

we have been raising our prices and also raising our minimums due to high gas prices. In California its about 6$ a gallon

I am lucky and 2 of our PTOs are flex fuel so we have been buying E85 at 3$ a gallon seems to work well but does burn faster

ProChem with 47 blower at 70% throttle using external water pump/Diesel heater(8gallons of diesel lasts 2 weeks at an average of 3hrs/day).
Getting .75/gallon per hour.

The HydroTek Diesel heater is finicky though with flow switches and fuel solenoid.

So you would have to plug up one remaining hole from double stack?
Looking at all of the portable manufacturers it seems the only to go with parallel config is Mytee (C302A) 3 Stage. This is very discouraging as the performance upgrade in parallel is significant. I'm definitely hesitant with Mytee though...

The only way to go with parallel motors is if you have the larger 3 stage, 6.6 or 8.4 motors. 2 small 2 stage vac motors in parallel won't cut it. You need a certain amount of suction, say 136 inches water lift, then you can add airflow by going parallel. Machines with parallel setups are ninja warrior, some Mytee machines, Nautilus machines where they have a system that switches from series to parallel. Series for water damage extraction, parallel for carpet cleaning.

One machine I had a manifold custom built for it. On and old school ninja I plumbed another pair of vac motors. On my Powrflite I mounted another vac motor on the top to get more airflow.
The best was the ninja with the four 2 stage motors with both sets in series but running those 2 sets in parallel.

You could also run 2-220 psi pumps with that set up.
