Gas TM to electric TM

Has anyone switched from a gas TM to an electric TM? Why did you switch? Which machine did you get rid of? Which did you get? Are you happy with your choice to switch?

To make a electric truckmount you just have to start with a new or used stainless waste tank that you can mount the vacs on.The pump can be mounted at a lower level near the freshwater tank and heater.

I've been doing alot of thinking about how feasible it would be to design a truck mount that would interface with some of the new diesel electric hybrids on the horizon. Like the Sprinter/ and some cab overs even. Basically taking a the engine hooking up a generator instead of a transmission and running axle motors or a larger central electric motor for rear wheel drive. These are going to be prett popular would be my guess, with regenerative beaking and highbrid concepts that utilize battery packs and low speed in town driving. I could see these trucks really biting hard into the Market espcielly with such instanct available torque from an electric motor(s). You would think it would not be difficult to design a relay box that transfered the electricy to a truck mount system like you have pictured with a high HP electric motor capable of running a postive displacement blower at peak efficiency. I kinda of see these on the horizon as the next type of PTO. Maybe I'm wrong but I's got a hunch.

Or you could just run a couple of power cords from the house to a elecrtic machine that you can build for around 3-4k.

I didn't see any online ordering or prices listed.

I do know that electrics can be quite a bargain and no carbon-monoxide.

As far as cords. Most have 2 cords, It's not a problem.

The cords can be mounted on reels to make usage very easy.

I saw Odin's unit at Mikeyfest and it performed as well as many gas units with a 45 blower. I believe he had at least 200' of hose on it at one time and it still had good vac at the wand.

why have all that hose hanging around and not use it. LOL

I guess it's real impressive to have 50 feet hooked up to a gas monster and run a aw29 with a flow of 4 or 6 to show how hot your machine is.
