Tires like this need to be rotated more... We rotate about every 5000 miles
We got almost 40,000 miles on the set we just replaced and there was still tread... But we really wanted tread!

I switch to a less aggressive tread, with my short wheelbase I really get the road noise with the Discoverer tires. I need to put them on but it's in the 50's -60's over the weekend.
Maybe late next week.??? I'm in Winter denial.

We cannot run chains or studs here..but really thinking about getting some chains for some bad places we get into out in the back woods....

I used to get those similiar all the time from from VW, continental brand. Now i just get cheaper tire from less schwab and have them do to the siping..

Cooper tires are the longest lasting I ever ran.

Look for tires with the M/S symbol. It stands for mud and snow.
It will be a little harder to find in an E rated tire.

My snow looks slightly more enjoyable than yours, Bruce! This was actually a driveway to mr fancy pants house...!

If your getting winter tires specific for snow and ice make sure they have a snowflake symbol on the sidewall.

Up north in the Saginaw Valley I run what ever came on the van from the Butler factory. We don't have the hills that you guys have down there , so the weight of the van makes it easy to get around in the snow.
