Basically, yes.

The antique engineering of the RX20 perfectly emphasizes and illustrates the dramatic difference. Larry insists it doesn't make a difference, but it really does...otherwise we wouldn't bother with all of the headaches to make and stock three different configurations for nearly every model of tool.

Take care,
Lisa

Larry insists it doesn't make a difference,

don't know anything about glides on the sOOper SoAker RX20

do know about them on wands ..or more specifically, Ti wand w/09 flow and AW29 w/06 flow

No one (or very VERY few) can change glides in seconds .
even less have actually taken the time (or care to make the time) to do side by side eval's on same room same day .and monitor to complete dry.
They "feel" dramatically different when measured in minutes, but not an hour later

I think Cobblet (yea, i know) was one of the first to suggest his findings were the same as mine ...10% difference if i recall...that's a "dime's worth"
there's just no practical difference if the carpet is "completely" dry in 7 hours or 7 hours and 40 minutes

and depending on how much pre-spray is needed to clean a heavy nylon cut pile, the difference can be less

Glides are GREAT, I don't ever see us going back to non glided wand, but the drying aspect between hole, hybrid and slot,(on wands) doesn't match the hype many claim.
If anyone cares to do those eval's, I'm confident they'll discover mush the same as I have

Larry, do you have a working RX20? A nice, dirty gluedown commercial in a greasy restaurant? I'll send you a set of each to try.

The principle and the physics are the same whether it's a wand or an RX20, it's just of all the tools, the RX is the one you will see it most on, no matter what size machine you have.

I have always had notched wands so switching glides is easy and our own home was often subject to our testing. Side by side, until fully dry. I aint makin' dat chit up!

Take care,
Lisa

Why does doubting Larry get all the goodies?
Why does the squeaky wheel....?

I don't have an RX 20, I don't do restaurants, I don't even do much commercial glue down either.
Can I still get a few glides for my all mighty PC-Ti-14?
And do I have to send them back?

And I don't even think you make this chit up! :winky:

Aren't you over 60 years old?!? Or do you just act like it crying about how heavy portable machines are? She gives free glides to the poor bastards who forgot to invest money and still gotta clean at there old age....... :stir:

Some people say she does it out of the kindness of the heart..... I say Lisa feels sorry for them..... It's all in perception.......

Not so much cold as gullible :winky:
Yes Nate, I'll be 60 this Sep.

I don't want Lisa to give me free anything. She runs a business and it is not like she's printing money. Business is good and I ain't interested in being subsidized by anybody, including someone who's as good-hearted as Lisa.

As per investing, please let me know how you're doing once you moved out from Mom's shack :winky:
As a house warming gift, your new pacifier is on me.

Like Bawb would always say, "You don't get old by being a fool....." I agree Lisa has a very good heart... I've been out of "mom's shack" since I was 19.... :winky:
