Living The Dream

Last year when I bought my Promaster it sucked in the snow, so I had winter tires put on it, and it was awesome after that. Fast forward to today and I had to learn to put my tire cables on in about 17" of fresh powder on top of 5' of snow from the week before. What I didn't factor in was that when I added my equipment to the rear it drastically reduced my traction.
I was pretty unprepared for this and I think today was one of my top 10 times of being cold, and I've spent a lifetime outdoors in the cold.
I'm in my hot tub now soaking it all in and headed for my sauna after this, but just a friendly reminder to stay prepared, don't let your guard down, and practice putting on tire chains or cables before you actually need them.
