Wearing them on dirty carpet only protects your shoes. Once you've tracked soil on the covers, they are the enemy. Any client that questions only needs a brief explanation about what its actually protecting.

They are great for estimates and walking back on to freshly cleaned carpet, but to clean with them on.... :icon_rolleyes:

And on certain transitions to hard surface the shoe covers actually can become a hazard.

And no matter which ones you get, they are always ripped half way thru the job

I learned lots and and relieved that i wasnt really doing anything different when assessing the floor, measuring and bidding. After, using the machine, i didnt realized how much a TM suction it is capable of generating. Definitly worth investing. I also need to get rotavc soon, but for now, my CRB serves me well.
Your CRB and a wand combo will serve you well.

Put your money into a TM first.

I'd worry about a Rotary later.

As @Mikey P says, we wand out...still have to get those corners anyways..

So let me get this straight, you rv360i into the room with no dry passes while using the 360i, then you wand out of the room catching the corners, removing the swirls and dry passing out?

I'm not judging, just trying to learn...

Wet then dry, sections at a time. use wand anywhere needed. Using wand for final drying does make it dry more. I am learning too, that why I tagged along with Mike, so i can learn to do it right.
