Four years ago I used to clean this guy's house every month. Gave the Mrs. a reset, so to speak. Then they moved away, renting out the house. Now they want to sell it, after booting the renters.
Tonight, my foreman and I went over to size it up for a deep cleaning and found it full of rat poop and the urine stink of multiple dogs. Actually eye-watering. No carpet, just laminate and tile floors.
I'd like your favorite urine treatment recommendation for hard surfaces. I have stuff I use, but this house will make a great test platform!

Oh hey, the best part is, we traded the cleaning for Andrew to live in a guest house rent and utility free, until the place sells!
He was looking for a place. Yay!

Does that work on hard surfaces too? Seriously, I am prepared to lay out some coin on good stuff. This means a LOT to Andrew, since his room mate got married and he had to move home with his folks. Been looking for a decent place at the right price and this is a Godsend.

The laminate will probably have to be removed if it is contaminated with urine. It will have soaked the underlay and subfloor. I had one like that recently. They wouldn't believe what I told them and didn't want to pay my price so they hired a cheaper guy who couldn't get the job done and ended up doing what I said anyway, but it cost them a lot more.

Some people need to learn the hard way (myself included at times)... I do know the cheaper laminate swell when exposed to the littlest amount of moisture... The urine could have also has seeped into the grout....

Good luck with whatever method you go... I'd advise them to R/R it....

Ya when's it's that bad I always tell customers "Your first loss is your best loss."

Just replace it, spending money trying to save, ends up costing a lot more.

You guys may be right. However, the actual swelling is very limited and may not be from urine. It could as easily be spills. I'm going to try out the enzyme cleaner and use steam to boil out the baseboards. I can actually inject the enzyme solution into the steam line to be carried deeply in. If it works, expect a heartfelt testimonial about OdorX.
The rest of the problems are just our normal cup of tea.
