Google places with photo on search page

I notice some google places business's have a photo next to the company in some cities. Other cities it is just a listing. Is there a way to have a photo come up with your listing? Or does google just treat different areas differently?

Just remember to have the photo you want dispayed be the first one you upload into Google Places. If they do decided to show the photo next to the listing...that will be the one.

you may need to log onto your google places page. if you didn't create the place's page, make sure you verify the ownership of the places account. Then you will be allowed to upload photos,edits and make changes to your places page.

I've been doing my own SEO.

I've got myself ranked #1 in organic listing is a number of cities, page #1 of many, page 2 of a bunch more. and more page 3 or more.

This means my site. I have a number of results for sites like yelp, kudzu etc showing also.
Will be interesting to see if the work pays off come the busy season.

I was wondering if all your duplicate content could be a problem in the future if the algorithms catch up with it?

You have what 30 sites that all the same content.

Yes. I am working on personalation for each cites page.

And of course filling in content.

Good idea on the video. Amazing how quickie google gets a video listed.

Google owns Youtube. So the vids get listed quick.
