It's locked in....I will be cleaning The Haven. It is the drug and alcohol rehab program I graduated from years ago. They are very excited! They have multiple buildings one of which is a house for mothers with their babies, one is a day care, the house for women and the house for men. I am going to work out a routine maintanence program with them and keep it going throughout the years.
The really cool thing about this is that the director wants me to also be included in the Friends Of The Haven program, which helps them not only solicit donations etc. but also hold charity events and galas etc. but more importantly they work on getting the older graduates who have succeeded in maintaining a clean and prosperous life to come in and "give back" to the current residents. To get involved in their treatment via group counseling or even one on one. She asked if this was something I would be interested in doing, and of course I said yes. I feel like a new and important door has just been opened for me as I have been looking for some way to help others with what I learned. I'm really excited, and I know that by helping others I will feel better about what I am going through and even get some support in the process.
This program has a 91% success rate!
