So I get a call last week from a guy wanting to set up a cleaning for a house I have cleaned in many times.

Seems the homewoners are on vacation, and this guy is taking care of the house and remodeling the kitchen.

I ask, ok.. when will the kitchen be done..
He tells me

I saw, well lets book the joba day or 2 after that, just in case you are not done.

He sez.. I will be done.

So we booked it.

I get there today, he meets me in the driveway.
Dude, can ya start in the 2 bedrooms.. ( traffic area maybe 70 sq ft combined ) Cuz I forgot to move stuff out of the way. and I need like 20 mins.

This is a tiny house.
Maybe 380 sq ft of total cleanable carpet.

I walk in.. the dining room is packed with constrution stuff, job about 1/2 done.

I look over at the recliner, half empty beer at 11:30am.
He walks over, picks up a baggy of pot, and a bong and sticks them in his pockets.
LOL

I think.
I wonder when the homeowners get home.

The guy is good friends with a homeowners.

While cleaning I see a pad, with dates, hours worked.
And total owed each day for the work the guy did.

I wonder if pot smoking, beer drinking and TV watch are included.

I wonder if I will get a call as to why my fee was higher this time.. ( I clean the place 4 times per year )

Shall I explain I had to help empty out the house, after requesting he be ready for me?

hey hey man..

Wuz ya hidden.. I'm cool.
4 hours later the carpets might have been done.

5 months later the kitchen still not done.

Can't wait to do the house again this winter ( unless I'm moved ) to see how bad the kitchen looks, or if done.
