Sure makes things easy, as long as they read it!

It's seems nice to have that problem.. Problem with me is there is too much verbiage for me to use.. I like bullet points, easy to read at a glance..

This reminds me of a funny story. I use TheCustomerFactor for my CRM and I had my assistant setup my pre-appointment email for me. It was going out to my customers for over a year before I found out what it was telling them. I only found out about it when one of my customers asked me if I had problems with my employees stealing things from people. She asked me if it was really necessary for her to lock her valuables in the trunk of her car. I was totally taken off guard by this. I think I just stood there with my mouth open.

It turned out that my assistant cut and pasted a section from Angie's list that advised people how to get their homes ready in advance of having their carpets cleaned. She just slapped the email together and didn't proof read it, nor did I. I just assumed it was done right. I have since rewrote the Pre-appointment email. I would have never known what it said if the customer didn't question me about it. Below is what the original email said.

"While many carpet cleaning companies thoroughly screen and vet their employees, it's also a good idea to remove any items of value from rooms with carpeting you hire them to clean. Store your valuables behind a locked door or in your car's trunk."
