Don't have to deal with too many people... Get in, get out, graveyard normally has everything mapped out on what needs to be done before getting there... Plus everything is open during the day, so you can still get stuff done..

But honestly, I like being away from my other half when it's that time on the month...

LOL Funny thing was all hyped up knowing I was going out with them I couldn't go to sleep.

Then the alarm was set for 6:30 pm I work up at 7:30 in a panic. They called me at 7:50 wanting to know where I was. I got there at 8:10 and we were on site by 8:30. Jump start to the day. :errf:

Btw Willy-- the floors you did Look Awesome!!
We surrendered to the fact that we were Not going to make a Fast Buck on our Job.. the job is taking use twice as long as we had planed on-- but we decided we wouldn't be working graveyard. A little half way done now..
Like Richard said--live and learn
But I did the same job about 20 years ago and charged just 5% of what I'm charging Now--and That's just insane..

Thanks John. It was a lot of work, but the $3500 payday will make it all worth it.

That's how I feel.. this weekend was one of my favorite parties in SF... If it wasn't for this commercial job== I would have been at this party which I would not have sobered up from until Tuesday--but since I had to take care of this job instead we may have our best month ever!!--- we wont be done till next weel-- but the gross amount might make it bearable--- but our next bid for the same job will be 50% higher at the least-- live and learn.

We have some work we bid on yearly for the local university, we do a lot of work there but each department runs somewhat independent of one another. Its a lot sq/ft and in decent shape so I want the job but there are so many other "time eaters" involved that when I job cost we are not making what I feel we should make for the effort we put forth.

Over the last 10-years we've won & lost it over a penny a sq/ft. This year we didn't get it and we didn't even raise it.
The facilities manager is very nice and I think don't think she will care but I don't think we will bid on it again.

There are many other things we can do that will make more money. If it were just the cleaning it would be easy but there is so much non-billable time its just doesn't allow us to make what I'd like to see.
