Greasing my blower in cold weather

This morning I greased my vac blower as usual. Outside temps were about 28 degrees. My ceramic had the interior of van at 45 degrees. I noticed the grease gun very hard to squeeze. It took the normal amount to grease 8-10 pumps per. I am wondering should I warm truckmount before performing this function, or does it not matter the cold temps during winter. Tuthill synthetic used when greasing from butler corp. Thank You, Ron

Happy Birthday, The grease gun was in my garage at around 48 degrees, maybe thats it. I just didn't want to learn down the road that you never grease a cold blower? Thank You, Ron

ron i always heat mine up a little before playing with the fluids..you are pushing out some of the old grease when you do your maint and it will make it easier to squeeze through that little nipple.
