On this tm I just bought, it's got a heavy coating of bleh on the walls from neglect. My pressure washer didn't take much off either. It needs to soak. Anyone have a secret formula they're willing to share to help me on this?
I wouldn't let bleach sit over night. Too corrosive. Maybe a couple of hours, then rinse thoroughlyNever really had to do it, but about filling it up and putting 2 gallons of bleach in there and letting it sit overnight
The tank is removed but I don’t know anyone with a soda blasterAluminum tank? If so those barnacles are not coming off easy. Soda blast would be the easiest if the tank is removed.
Put it on straight or dump the whole bottle with the tank filled with water overnight?Matt, try Torpedo drain cleaner, it’s super fast acting....
Just don’t use hot water...
I would babysit it. The stuff is insane strong...Put it on straight or dump the whole bottle with the tank filled with water overnight?
Might be an opportune time to coat the bottom of the tank. There is always liquid flex seal for those things!
Gallon runs $95 out the door!

Hey Damon, I just saw that this tank was powder coated also. It's all chipped off from it never being rinsed out. hint hintWith cash
