I clean a gym and used my standard go to enzyme pre spray.

I didn't get good results and ended up with a funky smell. I deodorizer with odorcide and used fans.
Anyone have similar issues? What do you recommend for better results?

Thank you!

who carpets gym floors ??

senior citizen facilities?
toddler daycare facilities?

no matter.....my Magic 8 Ball suggests several possible/likely factors

loads of organic funk (gym sweat and kid drool) in carpet that should of been cleaned sooner
combined with enzyme off gassing organic funk/stink enzyme break down
(it why nearly all enzyme pre-sprays have mucho parfOOm smell) cause they off gas stink as they break down organic soil

and lastly, poor extraction/over wet/excessive dry times

the grade school we clean sounds like a similar situation. We Zipper flush, let dry then Cimex the unavoidable browning the next day.

A parfume added to the Cimex tank would help you out I imagine

Sorry for the slow reply. I'm slammed right now. I have an everest truckmount for equipment. I use bridgepooint enzyme prey spray. I prey sprayed it with a heavy dose using my hydro master. I also added some of the same with a pump hand sprayer. Then I extract with hot water only. I've used this process hundreds of times.
Its a glue down carpet with varying thickness in the design. For lack of a better description. The area I'm referring to is on concrete but the upstairs is on wood.
My question is this,
Is there a better process than the one I'm using? I've always had such good results with my enzyme prey spray I usually don't need to use anything else. It works for me on pet damage, restaurants and other heavily soiled jobs. I've been in business for 12 years on my own and have a great reputation.
Your input is greatly appreciated you guys

A heavy dose on 1/8 " of carpet fiber. I think you should do a neutral or slightly acidic rinse and get dryers on it.

Would this be a good time to use Cobb's Oder Attack?

I used up the last of mine on a very pissy stained carpet that the owner just wanted improved enough to sell.

Left it bright and nice, but I put the stuff on with a garden watering can. 360i to scrub, then to extract.
