Hey guys I’m headed over to clean about 8k sq ft of gym flooring post construction I’m gonna sweep and vacuum everything.

They also want it sanitized so I was gonna use benefect Decon 30 and lightly extract/rinse (300psi) with a gecko squeegee

The gym is black rubber mats I’m worried about leaving a white residue or something going wrong such as the rubber absorbing the water
Any advice would be great

Do a freshwater rince at 400 psi with a dry stroke if needed

If they're dirty you're going to need to spray down some traffic lane cleaner let it dwell and then rinse
You'll be just fine

On the cheap? 175, red pad and neutral cleaner. Don’t go nutso with solution. Mop it up or recover with any wand. Easy on the vacuum.
Avoid anything too harsh or you will generate black soup.

To just sanitize, Your idea is perfect. If the floor looks clean, just spray it down with the Benefect and take off to lunch. Collect your check at lesiure.

That would be the janitor way of doing it. Don’t forget the tank on the 175.

Well I did exactly that I rinsed last on my way out it turned out great

Next time I would like to try and bonnet it but the floor is pretty grippy

In the end my glided wand was quick k and effective

Hold your horses...
ok, want is your fave? We are ok with our old PMF hard surface wand although we should really change out the jets if possible so that the spray fills out the vac orifice, prolly go to some thin' a lil' wider like 095's or something. Are there jets out there wider than 95? Thx. S....
