It’s time to make your plans for a Hands-On Rug Washing class this fall. @Doug Heiferman and I and hopefully a few other rug experts will be leading the group. A learning experience and some fun. You will be cleaning rugs that bleed, rugs that stink, rugs that shrink, delicate old rugs, and more with potential problems.
This is a multi-method class. We will be cleaning in a pit, on a wash floor, with HWE, with lots of water as well as foam and dry methods. You will get ideas on how to set-up your own rug shop.
Lorton VA (Washington DC area) September 26th – 28th. This class will include a visit to one of the largest rug warehouses in the USA. Students will see tens of thousands of rugs and be able to purchase at distributor cost if you wish.
Orlando FL Nov 7th – 9th Visiting a smaller rug gallery and nearby owner /operator rug shops.
Either of these locations could also turn a business trip into a nice vacation.
All students will be leaving with arm loads of free rug washing products.
