The dates and locations for the next Hands-On Rug Washing class for Your Market are now set. The 3 day class is May 14th - 16th in Orlando FL. This is the week after The Experience, so you may want to stay in Florida for both events.
Doug Heiferman, Clark Lancaster and I will be instructing. We will be touring rug plants, a rug gallery, learning construction and origins and washing a lot of rugs. We set up a rug washing plant with duster, centrifuge, wash pit and more. Students will wash rugs using several systems.
Bring your own rugs to wash in the class. Rugs are not prescreened. Bring the bleeders, rugs that might shrink, brown, have urine contamination or other issues.
Students get $200 credit toward rug washing chemicals. They also get a chance to use purchase any of the rug washing equipment used in the class at excellent discounts.
Orlando is recognized as a great family vacation spot, so bring the family along.
