Might get more feed back if you were more specific, Long1

What "kind" of training are you looking for?

Installation?
Cleaning?
Refinishing?
Drying?

Hi Jonathon:

The hardwood association NOFMA has the best deal for any training in floorcovering. It is located in Memphis. They offer a 5 day wood study, with installation, sand and finish. I went 3 years ago, and it was $550 with furnished lunches. Got to nofma.org.

Thx,
Dale

That's cleaning and refinishing

Cleaning and recoating is rather easy to learn. I have a two page color guide for cleaning wood floors. I'll be glad to email that to you or anyone else who wants a copy.

There is also a video of the process that is for sale. I can probably get you a special deal.

Refinishing, as in sand and refinish, takes some hands on training. I don't know any national place to get this training, but some who do the work will take on a helper for a few days in return for the training. You should be able to find someone willing as long as they don't see you as a competitor.
