Harper unloaded this relic on me with out a manual.

The manual off the Hydroforce site is for a newer version that does not rely on electricity to operate the clock.

Anyone have one that can copy/fax/email the manual?

I'm pretty sure that model wasn't intended for Van mounting....and Automatic regneration doesn't do much good if it's 110v powered.

Good thing the Shoehorn won't see full time action, re-charging once a week would suck.

I think that was an old Hydroforce Softener, you plugged it in at night to regenerate.

Check with Shawn or Jim, I'm sure they have sold some of those units.

No I meant the softener, Sorry i wasn't clear.

I like the Prochem's we had 6-like that at one time, we're down to 4 of them and the 805.

We have 3-in extended van's, 5-in box trucks.

So...tell about this thing. Did the plastic waste discharge line go over to the waste tank? Any issues with the daily salty brine in the Aluminum tank?

Did you always haul around the salt jug, or just set it in when you regenerated?

Did you do a quick 30 min, daily regen. or just plug it in once a month/week for 4 hours?

I was going to say something about that, but Mexican's are known for rigging up their cars so I thought I'd leave it alone.

For the record I just put on a set of Cragar s/s and N-50's and air shocks on mine.

That control is made by Fleck. They make the controls for most of the softeners and all your local independent stores will sell and service. Look for a shop near a rural area where people use wells not a shop that specializes ripping people off by telling them the city water will kill them.

To recharge mine I run an extension cord to it,hook up water supply hose and unhook the QD to my fresh tank so not water is flowing, run a piece of tubing that is hooked to the softener and hook it to the brine tank in the garage that I use for my house unit, run the drain hose to my waste tank and manually advance the dial to get it started.
